This new edit, down to seven episodes from the original (gulp!) 15, focuses the narrative much more tightly on Joe Loya’s descent into criminality and his incredible journey of self discovery that led him away from robbing banks.
If you haven’t heard this story, definitely go check it out. And even if you have, it’s worth a second listen. I LOVED revisiting the tape while making this new cut. Joe is one of the best storytellers I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with and his life is truly exceptional.
