We’re hiring a full-time staff producer to help develop new shows and work on some exciting new projects.
Western Sound is a podcast production company based in Los Angeles. We’re hiring a full-time producer with a proven track record of working independently and making creative & compelling shows that surprise and delight.
This producer will work very closely with Executive Producer Ben Adair to turn great ideas into stellar podcasts. We’re looking for someone who’s creative, smart and fast. Someone with experience do all sorts of podcast producing — finding talent, booking guests, conducting interviews, structuring episodes and some scoring and sound designing. You’ll work on a variety of stories / shows, from branded content to our signature serialized stories, so we’ll be counting on you and your creativity to make everything great.
Western Sound is a small team that works very closely together, so there will be lots of opportunities to grow, learn and collaborate.
Folx from diverse backgrounds are especially encouraged to apply.
- You have 3-5 years experience producing audio, podcasting preferred
- You’re very good at Pro Tools, or a similar audio editing program
- You’ve created segments and shows on your own
- You’re very communicative and can work independently
- You’re a natural collaborator and enjoy working in groups
- You love narrative podcasts and good stories
